Gatwick is busy (start of some half terms) but we still managed to get in a lounge (the family friendly one) which does pizza and fish finger sandwiches!
Strangely it is quieter than the other lounges…
And we’re going to work on a triathlon in Dubrovnik so not all holiday!
Coffee & sparkling water for breakfast!

I personally preferred AQA to Edexcel. Students do better if they have at least a 5 (preferably in Higher) as understanding is generally better.
My grade 4/5 students used to find it hard. We did AQA 2A (stats) and some of them found that and the Finance stuff hard. Thinking they’ve done higher than it is easier for them.
Couldn’t make it this year. Hope you all had a good time.
I know! Plus the costs go up exponentially as well!
One school near us has half term w/b 20/10, we’re going to Dubrovnik to work on our triathlon on 26/10 & our flights are lots more than OH usually pays. I can go cos I’m now a sessional teacher/lecturer & have taken week off.
I know they don’t run any to Dubrovnik after October so maybe?
Ah yes - we had trouble getting into one of those when we were away last year.
Actually a lot of those using lounges at Gatwick are on freebies with their package tour…not like it used to be
From the 7th floor of hospital. Not bad either.
This is exactly how I was. On a ‘support’ plan, told my lessons were crap, not differentiating enough, behaviour etc…
3 learning walks in 2 days, no mentoring etc..hardly any LM meeting, never told I was doing any good - but no complaints from SEN dept etc. was feeling very bullied.
I left my school in July without a ‘proper’ job to go to. Now doing some part time work in a college that I worked in before - not getting involved in any of the politics or anything - it’s great (at the moment)
Sorry to hear that. Hope things improve.
It’s really hard but it will get better - hugs
I’m just starting to do some tutoring and around me it’s anywhere from £25 to £100.
Had a tough day yesterday at hospital with my dad, but finally managed to pick up my tapestries that have been made into a cushion and a picture. Actually quite proud of them!
Hope it gets sorted.
I’ve been at the hospital most of the week with my dad.
If it wasn’t for international nurses and staff the NHS would not be what it is.
I knew I’d forgotten to give my two something!!
Jackson the #therapydog came to visit my dad in the hospital today. His face lit up when he saw it was a dog 💕.
Hope all goes well
Mine went off whilst in a hospital ward with my dad - it was a bit loud but not overwhelmingly.
There were several others going off as well on the ward.
Hope you enjoyed the gig.
Not what I was expecting to be doing on a Saturday evening…on way to Kingston hospital.
I’ve got one that we used for all years last year when the head readied quite a few students didn’t know how to - I’ll send it to you
And my #CoreMaths got an Alps score of 2!!! Yay!
