So true! It reminds me of how the Dem establishment didn't like Howard Dean's popular campaign in 2004. The media piled on, too. If they had supported him, history would be different because he reached the working folk in a way that no other Dem has succeeded in doing since FDR. (Obama, excepting).
Kai, this post nails it! I've been working with families that have their only reliable income from undocumented adults. And they're in trouble, an inch away from being homeless. Teenagers are being forced to support the family because our social safety nets were meager & now are disappearing.
Will the private jets help her get faster FEMA help to drowning camp girls?
But the biggest message is the photo - malicious compliance!

I’m absolutely exhausted in the best possible way. I love us. We did it! #NoKings
Look at these crowd photos and then view this one taken at the June 12, 1982 anti-nuke/peace protest in NYC's Central Park.

History now says 1 million people attended that rally.

Do you see a difference? I don't, and I was at the anti-nuke protest.

News outlets are underestimating crowd sizes.
I'm enjoying using my power to speak up for those who face danger if they speak up.
Rand Paul makes sense.

Think about that for a moment.
Rand Paul: "When you kill someone, if you're not in a declared war, you really need to know someone's name at least. You have to accuse them of something. You have to present evidence. So all of these people have been blown up without any evidence of a crime."
Does this photo look familiar? It's of the million-person protest in NYC's Central park on June 12, 1982 (I was there & 1st photo is mine).

But isn't interesting how the number counters & journalists did not underestimate crowds four decades ago, like it seems is happening in this new protest era?
#NoKings #YeahThatGreenville

We had more than 6000 turnout at Falls Park in Greenville! They're has never been a larger protest in this city!
"I'd like Christmas money. Pay us, please."
6000-plus in Greenville, SC!
We had a diverse group of people, including antifa frogs!
We had more than 6000 people at a protest in Greenville SC.
More than 6000 peaceful protestors in Greenville, SC!
Loving Clyde's sign and enthusiasm!
Trump's just saving steps by not prosecuting Homan. This way he doesn't have to bother with a pardon/commutation.
One woman I've known a long time has seen me walk by her house carrying signs to the previous protests. I didn't even know she was against Trump until she made a positive comment about one sign.
Today, this woman who had a long business career & never before protested will walk with me to the rally.
Today is THE day!

I'm very excited. I thought the June protest was bigger than the crowds they reported, but never mind - today is enormous.
I've been to every protest & saw friends at each.

But this time, all of those people plus more friends are going.

Newbies are texting me for info.
Japan is a good example of what happens when you make it very difficult for immigrants to become citizens.
It's all about eugenics and with a healthy slice of keeping women out of commerce and colleges.

All affluent nations have a lower fertility rate once their populace - especially women - become educated.
Most of them don't like the logical fix of admitting more immigrants.
So many illegal actions! Each member of ICE must be held accountable!
