Yeah, I totally get what you mean. The first sequel respected the original Tron but the new sequel feels like a cash-in. But I'll probably go see it too! 😅

Gotcha. I think this might be one reason rock fans haven't warmed to Swift the way they have to some other pop stars ... there is the expectation of these modulations. Good insights ... Thanks!

Hmm. Never thought about that. I think this might be a difference between Swift's music and many of the "guitar" keys (D, A, E especially) where you're very likely to hit a black key.

(Sorry for the digression ... I might be overthinking this!)

It's okay to disagree with me about this track. I was unsure about picking it myself.

I can usually separate art and artist. Except when I can't. The talent of the band as a whole tipped the scales here.

Yeah, I can see how that would be unsettling. I guess if there are no trademarks involved, anyone can call themselves anything.

For context, I have no connection with the other Fennec. It's just a track I heard a few years ago and liked. It's for a music challenge for the best songs of the 2020s.
