Thinking about this today, have always been obsessed with it.

The New Eves absolutely magnificent in Hoxton last night. Second time I’ve seen them and a good few years on since the first time. Proper, proper performers. The spirit of the Slits if the base text was Liege and Lief instead of Tappa Zukie. Plus bonus WL/WH cover to end, charged up.

I have most of my Fall albums on CD tbh, because that’s the format I was buying at the time (00s mostly) and have been only picked up a handful of OG’s so far. And that Peel Box, that’s the stuff. Bought that pretty much as it came out, so mint.

It’s great, as they almost all are in some way, but for me Fall Heads Roll and Your Future Our Clutter are the best two since 2000. Big soft spot for Imperial Wax Solvent too, they were properly on a roll for a bit.
