I liked the aesthetics. The story leans on familiar tropes—it’s not bad, but it’ll feel familiar if you’ve seen or read a lot of sci-fi.

Am I the only one who remembers Tron Guy? From what I’ve read, a well-deserved cameo would’ve only made Tron: Ares better. Maybe he would’ve passed after reading the script—who knows—but it was still a missed opportunity.
