I liked the aesthetics. The story leans on familiar tropes—it’s not bad, but it’ll feel familiar if you’ve seen or read a lot of sci-fi.

The Shadow Planet is basically The Thing set on a 1950s-style sci-fi spaceship and alien world.

The kid from A Kid in King Arthur’s Court is the same kid from Rookie of the Year. His early acting career was a baseball multiverse.

My son has discovered live action movies.

I watched an interview with Jeff Bridges, Trent Reznor, and Atticus, and Jeff Bridges joked that they scanned his whole body, but he came out looking like Bill Maher.

I thought this was a fun read with that old-school pulp adventure feel. I couldn’t stop thinking of Flash Gordon.

It’s great to hear they’re aiming for long runs. I’m most excited for Necretaceous. Zombies and dinosaurs.

Wishmaster reminds me a bit of The Prophecy series. They are what they are. If you can watch them all close together, you appreciate the whole thing.

I'd love it if Terry Matalas could be a showrunner for Star Trek again.

It’s hard not to compare every dinosaur movie to Jurassic Park, but Primitive War is the most fun I’ve had with one since the first two Jurassic Parks. youtu.be/ixXxdWY6d68?...

This made me think of the song “Surfin’ Bird” by the Trashmen.

Am I the only one who remembers Tron Guy? From what I’ve read, a well-deserved cameo would’ve only made Tron: Ares better. Maybe he would’ve passed after reading the script—who knows—but it was still a missed opportunity.

I just realized how much he looks like Neil Peart.

I might attract friendly weirdos like me who get it and talk to me anyway—and I’m okay with that.😆
