KAIJU NO. 8 SEASON 1 - 9/10

Enjoyed this a lot. Loved the main lead. He added a lot of heart in this anime. LOVED the found family. It was funnier than I anticipated and I loved that. The fight scenes were so cool. I wish Kafka had more moments with Mina. Need to go watch S2 now

QUEEN MANTIS - 8/10

Decent crime Kdrama, could have been better. THE STUPID COP TROPE WAS RAMPANT & ANNOYING! AMAZING ACTING! Good twists. A part of background of main villain was NOT needed but it was part of the French show which this is a remake of - could have changed it.

This isn’t my usual content BUT I loved the #Jdrama #OurDiningTable so much that I had to go & buy the books AND then I may have gone overboard because I noticed I missed buying a BUNCH of the #CherryMagic books so I bought this too.

Also just wanted to say - not to excuse Queen Mantis but it is a remake of a French show. The french show had the same character and setup so, the Kdrama just kept the same storyline
