it's funny that LLMs are then converging toward the expert system template of actually asking questions in response, to ultimately have the user provide their own answer (or read it between the lines)

also possibly related: expert systems were templated on consultation, with the system asking the user questions in order to collect information for inference; LLMs mirror this, as they are templated on conversation, where the user asks questions and the LLM provides an answer
