Sufficed to say that any idea to attend Sizecon in the future will be very hesitant.

To see someone who is themself an artist, who runs an event for creatives and artists, for a community that without us would not exist, stoop to the level of vehemently defending the use of AI is disappointing

I think that if you're an illustrator who is interested in seeing your art or characters in motion you should either learn to animate yourself or pay someone who will fucking do it for you. There are plenty of animators looking for work.
