I think the intermissions function absolutely perfectly in knockout mode. In Grand Prix, I thought I didn’t mind them at first, but they really started to grate on me eventually. I would have really liked to see knockout be the focus of the new open world feature and Grand Prix stay traditional

“Killed” is obviously an overreaction, but it is really disappointing that Nintendo is limiting the ways you can play the game online. With so much variety of game modes in MK World, you’d think they would want to allow the player to play however they enjoy the game most. There’s just no sense in it

I’m so excited to finally play Hades 2 on Switch 2 when it drops! Been avoiding starting it until it’s fully complete, and playing on such a powerful handheld is gonna be sick

The way I feel about Howl’s Moving Castle is that I wouldn’t rate it the highest out of the Ghibli movies—I do find it to be pretty flawed, but it’s still my favorite. You can’t beat its vibes or its optimism and heart

I feel it’s been very clear that he was not working on a new Smash game over the past several years, but a ton of competitors who desperately want to move on from Ultimate were so adamant that the next game was coming any day now. Reality finally started to set in after Air Ride was revealed

They really made an error in showcasing this as a vast single player experience that would satisfy everyone and then underdeveloping the open world so badly. I’m playing a ton of multiplayer but as someone who was really excited for that, I’m half expecting them to smooth all of this out

Funniest quality I have is I’m generally a pretty decent jeopardy player, but if a question is tailor-made for me, I get so excited that I freeze up entirely and cannot think of the word. Last night it was “this instrument, named for blah blah blah, is found in the title of a legend of Zelda game” 🤦‍♂️

And I do think that’s a very cultural issue within Italian Americans specifically. It’s a big part of the machismo mindset and the hypocrisy it instills

Lmao, I’m just joking about the fact that this applies to pretty much every man in my Italian American family, as well as the majority of other families I know. Unfortunately, while most display outward hatred for abuse within the family, concessions are constantly made within politics/work
