✨ 525 people. Small town. Big energy. ✨

No Kings 2.0 absolutely showed out in Spindale today! 💛

We packed the house with joy, costumes, and courage… plus a disco ball, inflatable animals, and a rollerblading inflatable baby 🛼👶 because democracy should be fun.

💛🎭 This Saturday!
No Kings 2.0 @ Spindale House, 11–1

We’re standing up for democracy and standing with Portland. Wear yellow or come in costume. Make it weird, make it joyful, make it loud!

Resistance doesn’t have to be grim. It can be creative, kind, and unapologetically human.

📣 Join us for a powerful Community Teach-In on Thursday, June 12 at 6:30pm via Zoom
in collaboration with Family Resources of Rutherford County!

We’ll explore how local families are being impacted by current challenges, and what we can do to show up, support, and build lasting change together.
Almost 200 of us stood together yesterday. Peacefully, powerfully, unshaken.

What was meant to intimidate us only proved why we keep showing up.

I know I’m on the right side of history. And one day, when my daughters ask what I did, I’ll tell them: I stood tall. I showed up. I fought for them.

We are hosting our very first Community Teach-In on Thursday, June 12th at 6:30pm via Zoom, and we’re partnering with Family Resources of Rutherford County to make it happen.

Come learn what they do, who they serve, and how we can all be part of building a safer, more just community.
Budgets reflect values.
And this one shows us exactly who they value.
