Ah yes, the wibbly nature of reality in dreams is what I want in games
A pox upon the interior designers at Subaru who - rather than using a simple access panel to access rear taillight assemblies - mandated that one remove almost the entirety of the trunk interior to remove the monolithic rigid felt side panels blocking access to said taillight assemblies
There's a furtiveness to the placement - splitting the difference between prominence and presumably odds of being spotted applying the sticker. Generally facing traffic on through streets, but not on major streets nor signaled intersections.
Given the 1999 date on that "article" I was surprised to find it still kicking myself
It's Landover Baptist "Personal Testimony Improvement Center" only it's for the overwhelming bulk of their lives.

So so many American Christians are all ate up with the likes of of prosperity gospel and other interpretations that are self-evidently orthogonal to the Bible they claim as literal truth
A local Democratic door knocker walked up to me while I was working outside and we had a brief chat (far from random as they knew I'd voted in the Democratic primary). Far more than the GOP has done here in my red county - although they sure love to stuff my mailbox with campaign mail.
2 more. I may be out of targets at this point.
Knowing Dad, ours was the cheapest base model - surely equipped with the LQ5 as it was a circa 1983 purchase.
Family had a 5spd Cimarron. Critical parts kept falling off. Dad made some bad assumptions about that Cadillac badge...

Think this bit says a lot:
"It [CTS] was the first Cadillac offered with a manual transmission since the 1988 Cimarron."

Suspect the response will be a border wall *way* north of TX, NM, AZ, CA
A variant of the "air-dropping progressives in cowboy hats into red-leaning purple districts" strategy that's failed repeatedly over many cycles
Meanwhile I put a stake sprinkler out perhaps 20 times a year and the grass does OK while my neighbors run theirs 3-5 times a week all year long.
Sprinkler systems are depressingly the norm in DFW. Watering restrictions are disregarded to the point that burgs will occasionally put put signs ala WATERING RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT - WE MEAN IT. But how else will the pavement stay such a vivid shade of gray without irrigation runoff?
Funny how the origin story narrative is already crumbling
Much to my surprise, a staffer just called me to follow up on the message I left at the end of the town hall - it was a reasonably pleasant and professional exchange.
ATTN: Texas TX-26 people. Representative Brandon Gill will hold a conference call town hall this evening. The last events were poorly-publicized and packed with ringers throwing the slowest softball pitches.

Got stuck behind the slowest BMW the other day:
• Driving 20MPH under the limit
• 0-30 time of 25 seconds

OFC they also refused to use turn signals.

After missing 2 lights I treated them like a rolling chicane. I hope they sh_t themselves.
Post-fact reality + surrender of agency asserting itself. Conservatives have like disliked green energy because contrarianism: their ideological adversaries were into it. More recently, MAGA is told to hare it so they do rather than be ostracized by the cult.
I mean, there's no need to prefix the epithet with Paxton
Cornyn is being driven right by Paxton's primary campaign
Suspect they'll learn the hard way that replicating a video game HUD in real life is really fkn hard
"according to police AI"

Funny that reads like "automating systemic bias"
> limits the system so it can only be activated on roads it was designed for

I recall GM does repeated LIDAR mapping of highway corridors - storing the point cloud data on the car itself - for this purpose, so small surprise it's excellent compared to FSD
