A pox upon the interior designers at Subaru who - rather than using a simple access panel to access rear taillight assemblies - mandated that one remove almost the entirety of the trunk interior to remove the monolithic rigid felt side panels blocking access to said taillight assemblies

A local Democratic door knocker walked up to me while I was working outside and we had a brief chat (far from random as they knew I'd voted in the Democratic primary). Far more than the GOP has done here in my red county - although they sure love to stuff my mailbox with campaign mail.

Sprinkler systems are depressingly the norm in DFW. Watering restrictions are disregarded to the point that burgs will occasionally put put signs ala WATERING RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT - WE MEAN IT. But how else will the pavement stay such a vivid shade of gray without irrigation runoff?

Got stuck behind the slowest BMW the other day:
• Driving 20MPH under the limit
• 0-30 time of 25 seconds

OFC they also refused to use turn signals.

After missing 2 lights I treated them like a rolling chicane. I hope they sh_t themselves.

I recall GM does repeated LIDAR mapping of highway corridors - storing the point cloud data on the car itself - for this purpose, so small surprise it's excellent compared to FSD
