Really need to do that. Convinced our Ojo is on Hulu's payroll with how much he taps that button on the remote.

How cute is this?!?!!! I love it!
Finally made the minifigure design for Galaxy from DC Comics, one of my favourite new characters from DC! The render is a bit messed up but it should work well for the UV printer!!!
I haven't decided to get up. I've just given up trying to get some sleep.

I want to get back to it eventually, but I bounced off of it at some point in Act 2 and havn't dipped back in. Swapped back to some comfort games and felt better.

I was really enjoying Silksong too, but there was a sudden spike in what the game demanded that just... it wasn't hard just exhausting.
Me, showing off my Warframes on Discord.

Awesome friend: "So, you're showing me your doll collection?"

Me, pausing, realization, proudly beaming, "Yes! Yes, that is exactly what it is and I'm so happy to have a label for what I'm doing! Look at all my cool space ninja dolls!"
Good news! My retina's condition is normal (for me). Just a weird flash, nothing to be alarmed about. It's been a spooky few days, but happy to have this prognosis.
I'm really hoping that's just a little spark in my vision from a migraine and not a retina flash. Please, please don't be retina related... it's too soon for something else medical.
I keep wanting to say things feel like the old 'net with being exposed to mind curling videos, but when I do I question if it's just not being on the roads that stuff exists within now. That I'm speaking from the privilege of my little box. And that I was caught by surprise when it was ripped open.
In related news, finished a reread of Gideon the Ninth. Second of three books I tried to start while I was going through my little hospital episode earlier this year. After Gatsby, I'm also now out of stories I've read before.

New and next is The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
Ah that lovely empty feeling that comes from finishing a book you just love. That untethering from the reality the mind put together through word and phrase. Like an emotional snap of a whip; the unmaking of a dream.

Such a gift to be able to experience that.
One of the big things I miss before developing apnea was just going to sleep on the couch with the cats. Xavier is on my lap now and I wish I could just snooze here instead of dislodging him in a few mins so I can breath in my sleep.
Spent the night researching for a story, having some tea, and chilling to old comfy tunes. Now taking my meds and having a popsicle before bed.

It's been a good night.
Almost September, and feeling creatively antsy. The medical excuses for this rut is running dry and my head is constantly turning over thoughts about a story.

Need to start taking notes on these thoughts. Nothing needs be set for hard goals at the moment; just make the prep work matter.
But I'm not a typical MMO player. I dislike most of the ones I touch, and XIV only got me invested long enough to get into the story and lore because of nostalgia. Nostalgia, lore, story, etc, can give me a lot of copium for games I otherwise wouldn't dig.
Yeah, quite a lot. Lore droplets, exploring areas, see how things are put together. But I'm the type that cleanses an area of all quests before moving on in the MSQ. Not necessarily for the xp (although that is nice), but also to see the side stories here and there.
Album 53

Florence + The Machine - Dance Fever (Complete Edition)

That name combined with my posting format makes it seem like I'm subtracting the album.

Really enjoyed the threads of the album. My first time listening to the group, and I'm surprised I haven't been exposed to them earlier.
Same quest, same base look but different characters, eight years apart.

Original when I first ran the Heavensward Remembrance quest, second as the alt tonight. Tyr's a Femroe now, and Micara has the old body.

Kind of heavy thinking of how different the person playing each character has become.
"We're tough, we can make it through this," she said hunched over the counter struggling to make a sandwich.
Dear YouTube:

Why did you link me this 18ish year old video from a channel with two videos, the second of which is also 18 years old?

I mean I like it in a weird "this seems both a miasma of happy mixed with sad melancholy" kind of vibe sort of way, but dang. What a deep dig.

To give an idea of how long it's been since I played, this used to be a "perfect game" for me in Steam when it first came out. Guess it's time to try and hit that target again.
Redownloaded Vampire Survivors. I forgot how simple fun this game can be. Reset the account so I can reexperience the discovery stuff.
Album 52 - Week... still need to figure that out.

Rebecca Sugar - Spiral Bound

Short, sweet, and tender. Rebecca Sugar brings their iconic soft and cozy melodies in this pocket sized album, and it does not disappoint. Take a breath and indulge for 14 minutes with this gentle audio gift.
Feels like I just did LR4. Well, I will say the legendary version of the hacking test was a lot more fun, show casing hacking objectives from Duviri, 1999, Whispers, and The New War. Lots of fun. Wish there was multi-objective hacking throughout the game rather than limited by tileset.
