Elevated fire weather concerns continue through sunset, with widespread wind gusts of 30-35 mph and isolated gusts up to 40 mph across southern Wisconsin, and relative humidity values falling into the low 20 percent range. Avoid burning outdoors! #swiwx #wiwx

A Freeze Warning remains in effect for all of southern Wisconsin until 9 AM CDT this morning. Temperatures will drop into the middle 20s to lower 30s for most of the area, except right along the Lake Michigan shore. This can kill sensitive vegetation. #swiwx #wiwx
Light winds, clear skies and dropping temperatures again tonight. A widespread freeze is expected with temperatures falling into the upper 20s to low 30s inland. Lake shore areas will be a bit warmer in the low to mid 30s. #wiwx
Weakening winds and clearing skies will lead to chilly temperatures tonight. Frost is expected in areas to the along & west of a Wisconsin Dells - Madison - Janesville line after midnight, where a Frost Advisory is in effect between 2-9 AM. Bring cold-sensitive plants inside.
Widespread showers and perhaps a brief thunderstorm or two are expected from late this morning into the evening hours, along with cooler temperatures and gusty west winds. Along with the rain, small hail will be possible with some of the strongest cells.
