i figured the odds that at least *one* of his cloned dogs was going to give him sound economic advice was possible but i'm glad i didn't take that bet now.
it also wants its ceo vs lowest paid worker ratio and its corporate taxrates back too
b-but, but hayek stood on top of that car hood at three in the morning outside the weimar mint and told all the bureaucrats he assembled to "stop that sound and that will stop the crash!"😱
libertarianism is a mind virus and argentina is one of those chicks that loves steak dinners too much and keeps going back to the same dysfunctional boyfriend because he's such a good gaslighter—"oh no babe that wasn't me, that was, uh communists who did that to you!"
there was one back in the 1990s. they mismanaged the country so badly that the factory owners left the country, taking all their capital so workers who had been unemployed for years finally broke the locks on the factories and seized the means of production.

that country btw was argentina.

conscious ear: hears "blackface" about 167 times
conscious eye: sees "badface" about 167 times
unconscious brain: black equals bad

no matter which way he turned, a beatdown was inevitable
um..."let's go, brandon?"
one thing's for absolute certain: the media doesn't want to talk about when ceo's get ganked
yes. a more tolerant society that maybe is less likely to abuse and neglect their "weird" or "unruly" kids to death as toddlers before they survive long enough to get diagnosed

but this 'more tolerant' society neglects them as adults and shoves them out through the widening holes of our safety net
the moral leitmotiv that keeps recurring throughout the whole series is "it's okay when good people do the bad things, because they've got the right reasons"
we're crashing into it right now...
that was one of the more subtle aspects of power i learned in full in the last ten years: being caught in hypocrisy is not them being sloppy. the naked display of it is the whole point, a clear demonstration that laws exist to protect those in power and to bind those outside of it
when "anglo-saxons" were still the only "real americans," you had to be a congregationalist or presbyterian protestant denomination to join the elite power structure. evangelicals and pentecostals only joined the ecumenicalism in the 1980s when they allied politically on segregation and abortion
i love reading all these tales from typographic oceans
certainly not one that wants to flatten gaza—excuse me, doesn't care if gaza *gets* flattened by us backing. a distinction without difference
you know who really flipped their shit out when someone posted her picture like this when she was running for election again?

alessandra mussolini
get his reservation at delmonico's canceled, that'll prompt some action
it's called "living in the cool zone"
"my wife's final words to me were, 'make awful goddamn sure you fuck the poors and the coloreds as hard as you can in your new term now, hon. and keep bringing home that bag—for the kids i guess, whatever.'"
if cassidy hutchinson's experience is anything to go on—and i'm absolutely certain it will be—this girl is about to hear more direct requests for things she never imagined her anatomy could be considered for using
