A screenshot of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, of the player looking at an unconscious Countess of Leyawiin, who is notable for being racist. The player is holding up the Sword of the Crusader, which is glowing a faint orange, with a gauntleted hand, on a mound of grassy dirt, next to a tree and some rocks, off the edge of a cobblestone walkway in the town of Leyawiin, on a foggy day. There are two shop off in the distance.

We just finished up a meeting with Bethesda where we got to design a character for The Elder Scrolls 6. Honestly, a lot of us went into the meeting pretty nervous and even reserved, but now we're all extremely excited for what's in store.

Having a low Alchemy skill may result in a 20% chance that you mislabel your potions and poisons. Which is the leading cause of injury and death in the Mages Guild.

Daedroth and Clannfear will send each other passive-aggressive, hand-written notes back and forth until you show up to fight them.

This isn’t the town recreation center’s family Halloween party.

A screenshot of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, of the player in an underground stone chamber, with a sacrificial altar with necromancer seals on the side of its stone, as well as the whole room, with a flaming skeleton clad in a necromancer's robes lying on top. There is a lich in the background hovering, bathed in the white light of a spell, and its own summoned skeleton swinging an axe at the player, who is holding up the sword of the crusader.

Quest Updated
Any Given Romantic Comedy
(Quest text in alt text)
#TheElderScrolls #Oblivion
A screenshot of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, of the player's game being paused by a pop-up window giving them an update on their quest. The scene behind the window is of a Non-Player Character's house, with tan walls, wooden post framing around the walls, and red and green tapestries hung from the walls. An Argonian woman (humanoid lizard person) is standing off to the side and looking at the player. She is wearing an upper-class brown and tan skirt that goes down to the floor. Her scales are red and brown, and she has red eyes, with two backward-facing fins on the sides of the top of her head.

The quest update window reads as follows:

Quest Updated
Any Given Romantic Comedy
20th of Mid Year, 3E434
Quill-Weave has mistaken me in my armor, crafted from a Daedroth, for a hulking, buff Argonian, even though I’m just a normal Argonian. She wishes to journey with me on adventures for inspiration to make a new romance and adventure novel. I should find a way to break the news to her that I am but a simple pickle smith tasked with delivering an amulet to a monk, and the most exciting thing that happens to me is when I get my head stuck in the brine jar.

Shipmaster Rtas 'Vadum (Halo 3, mission: The Covenant):
"I will beat the prophet's shield like a child's high score at an arcade."

That's totally the quote. Don't look it up.

So I tried The Elder Scrolls: Battlespire.
I made my character and class, spawned into the world, tried to figure out the controls, figured out the arrow keys move you, accidentally walked off a cliff, fell into lava, died, it restarted the game, and it didn't make a save after character creation.

You have forfeited your legs, arms, and skull.

A screenshot of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, of the player, inside of a castle main hall, with a bald man in royal clothes, sitting on a throne watching them with an neutral expression, as a guard stands by, not paying attention, while standing next to a large brazier on a stone altar, on a raised stone brick stepped platform for the count and his throne. The player's armored hand is outstretched as if giving a high five, but it is lined up with the chest and breasts of an Argonian (humanoid lizard person) woman in a burgundy dress. The woman has a faint green glow to her, indicating that the player has cast a charm spell on her. Her face has an expression of disgust and anger, while she is furiously squinting at the player.
There is a prompt on the screen indicating the player may press the "X" button on their controller to talk to her, and her name is "On-Staya Sundew". Her scales are green, orange and brown in color, and she has many thorny spikes on her head as a form of hair style.

Most Daedric runes on scrolls or engraved into enchanted equipment are just the relevant copyright information or serial numbers.

Chiitan has a dream.
I hope that one day the term LGBT will become a thing of the past.
I will continue to spread my message until we live in a world where everyone can love freely and is free from persecution and discrimination.
Until then, let's all support each other🤍

Oh no! D: I hope you feel better!
If it ends up being covid and you get that "razor throat" symptom like I did, I got it to go away with chamomile tea with honey, and Fisherman's Friend menthol cough drops!
