I’ve been struggling with a slowly dying keyboard for months. So I finally got a new one! She’s a beaut.
Southern US: rolly polies here, too.
Last time I was asked if I had "any signs of depression during the last two weeks," I said, "Would be strange if I didn't, yeah?"

She just blinked at me and asked me to confirm that I wasn't planning on harming myself.
Living up to your username, for sure!
Oh it's lovely! I can't pick a favourite, they're all so good!
I'm not usually bothered by spit- the infamous S13 flob task doesn't get to me- but I think this one veered too close to vomit. I couldn't handle it.
I really like them! They’re a lot more comfortable than the foam ones and stay in my ears better.

Mine are the original version from when they first came out, I’m not sure which of the new ones they’re closest to.
I have accepted being old. I carry Loop earplugs in my bag at all times now.
Excellent bird luck today!

Great blue heron flew overhead, SIX white ibises in the parking lot (they were all in a tree together before a dog barked at them, which was even cooler), and then a male cardinal sat in my window for a while.
When I was a 6th grader, internet research was new and we were constantly reminded that it was whitehouse.GOV for research. whitehouse.COM was a porn site.

Now, well…
Solidarity- I also regularly have to fight the brain gremlins. 💕

I’ve named mine. “Damn it, here comes Steve again, sucking the joy out of everything. He’s a dick. Shut up, Steve.”
I deeply appreciate that you're not writing generic "comedian books" or cosies or romcoms. I read a bunch of those, enjoy them, don't think about them for long after I'm done. But your characters haunt me. I'm always left wanting more, thinking about the whys and what-ifs. Powerful stuff, that.
I can never predict your endings, yet they're always set up in a way that makes perfect sense. That is such a rare, delightful thing to find and it takes immense skill to pull off. It's also what makes me shove your books at people while shouting, "READ THIS SO WE CAN DISCUSS!!"
Brilliant interview, as expected from you on RHLSTP. Listening to you speak with someone who's read your book is a joy.

The first thing I tell people when recommending your books is that you're a master at writing endings, so I was glad to hear you touch on that. Excuse my unabashed gushing-
Confession time: Shockingly, I am in that category. Was hitting download before I even finished reading this post.

(The notification came across my phone while I was trying to explain how I'm familiar with the apple dance to a colleague. "So there's this comedian I pester... ah, there he is now.")
Better claim it. Your butler could use a bonus.
Alright, but what if we like rambling tangents?

shout out to all the writers and artists who take forever to finish something. I get it, bro. I take a long time too. but your worth as a writer/artist isn't built upon production. so just keep striding it out. keep taking those steps. we each have our own race track. we'll get to the finish line
Who else just watched Good Mythical Evening? 👽 🚀🪐

Good lord. Something for everyone in this one. Worth every penny.

(You can still get the VOD.)
...plus I get to use a spreadsheet for tracking. And who doesn't love a spreadsheet?
This is why I force myself through Nanowrimo (or, you know, the non-official equivalent, since it went tits-up) every year. I know a lot of people criticise the concept, but for me it's good practice getting words on the page even if I don't "do anything with" the end result.
Well... it's both taking longer and coming out better than I anticipated, so I think I'll post it here.

Still on track to be done with Writing (one of) The Thing(s) by the end of the month, though. 🤞Then onto the next in November.

Someone slap me if I start any jumpers anytime soon, though.
Accountability report on Writing The Thing (which, I must confess, is actually three things):

After reading That Book (phew- not sure how to distil my thoughts on that one into bleet format just yet), I decided to Do An Art as a creative palette cleanser. Just a silly little Halloween parody.
I genuinely don't know if I'm intrigued or horrified, honestly. Certainly wouldn't help you beat the cult leader allegations, though.

(...wait. Are you working on two games?)
(Should I also infer that you’re considering implementing streak mechanics in your game?)
