Just like I don't have to like every time a minority gets unjustly killed by a police officer and no one dies anything about it. But I still have to go to work. I still have to pay taxes though. Ain't Nnothing changed for me but the rent. 4/7

Maybe he didn't deserve to be shot. However, as I learned when I was a child in the hood if you run your mouth enough somebody will have a desire to do something about it. That's just the way the world works. None of us have seen his browser history. Maybe he deserved it. Who knows? 2/7

Someone I haven't spoken to in almost a year reached out to pretend like he cared about me as a person. This was just so he could talk to me about the fact that Charlie Kirk got killed today. His exact word was murdered, and that's fine. I said fuck Charlie Kirk. 1/7

Ideally: Sit (or stand) at my desk and imagine the world I've created happening in real time while I write it all down. Do this daily for 2-6 hours.

Reality: Rewrite swaths of pages because, wtf was I thinking? And, it's winter, where is the description of snow on the ground you idiot?

I've spent thousands of dollars testing, medicating, bringing him to ER visits for random things that seem to be happening to him now. I am, atypically having a really, really hard time deciding on the right course of action. I fear I'm not handling this well at all. I should, but I can't let go.

I put him in a diaper so he doesn't dribble and/or pee all over the floor, because he pees in his sleep now and doesn't realize it. He's not in pain, I've spent thousands of dollars to confirm that.

He's now 14 years old and has a spinal condition. He can barely walk because he's losing control of his hind legs and bladder. I get up every couple of hours to help him up or carry him to the backyard to do his business.

I'm just venting. I have a German Shepherd. I've had him since he was 4 weeks old. His eyes were still grey when I held him in my lap the whole drive home. He puked on me during the ride. 😅 Having a German Shepherd is like having a consistently 2 year old child with you.

Well, I'm writing to a specific format and trying to figure out where to stop and pick up again. So, it's going about as well as you might imagine (slowly, painfully, and with great structural change I didn't know I needed until....I mean you get it.)

I edit as I go. I typically have at least 5 versions of each individual scene I'm working on. Oddly, or not, rather than write in chapters, I write in smaller scenes. I feel it helps me create an overall tighter chapter. I also cannot prove that at all. 😅
