Ohh yes. We had serious discussions about who would keep it in their house. My grandmother taught me the felt embroidery techniques she used to make it, so I said I could always make another one. Whereas my brother couldn't. So he got the original. It was fair we all agreed #FurryTails #FurryReaders

I follow some UK independent bookstores and see posts about book tokens. I think it's a great idea. I'm all for encouraging reading. I hope that #FurryTails #FurryReaders does. And maybe introduces books that are a bit under the radar.

My younger brother has the calendar in his house. So I had to get a new one for mine. But it's nice to make new, similar traditions & memories with your new families as your lives move. #FurryTails #FurryReaders

I don't know that I have a favorite book.
If people ask for suggestions, I will always offer The View from Saturday by E.L. Konigsburg. That book was really a moment for me. And re-reads have proven just as great. #FurryTails #FurryReaders I had given copies to everyone I know!

It was long. But we were just so into the story. We took it to dinner, to class, and stayed up far too late reading it. I am genuinely surprised we managed to pass those finals! #FurryTails #FurryReaders

We grew up with a Christmas Tree Advent calendar made by grandmother. There were 24 ornaments. Each day Mom let us put only 1 on the tree. With 3 kids, each got 8 days over the season. And there were always arguments about which ornament was "best" and where to hang them. #FurryTails #FurryReaders
