Too much contrast on this scan, it's an older drawing but a good example of how you can do fine scales with mechanical pencil crosshatch over the highlights. You don't need a lot, just enough to create the impression.

It really is! Prismacolor has a whole line of neon pencils, you can get UV ink, or just hit the art store with a UV flashlight and sneak around hunting for what glows the brightest.

Rabbit Knight Dual Duel Hands

Here's what I can do in an hour, compressed into a minute. I'm using paired Alvin mechanical pencils, they're almost indestructible. Too much colour saturation on the video, gotta remember that for next time.

That blooming glow is just little cutout pieces of high brightness printer paper under a 365nm UV beam. This is just a phone camera shot so the resolution isn't great.

But the trick is so damn easy anyone could do it.

Careful not to walk under this guy, he'll pull you right up into the rafters. The adamantine garotte can slice off even the most stubborn head.
