I’ve also seen it referred to as an autistic moment. Talking about something that you’re interested in for a few seconds isn’t the same as a hyperfixation and should be a normal part of conversation. If you can’t handle hearing someone else speak that’s on you and your self absorption.

There’s this thing happening where people don’t like when other people (esp women) speak about their interests for more than a second and feel the need to shame it or coin it as yapping

Example: this Sabrina moment. She’s literally doing an interview. Her thoughts are the point of the footage.
