Cool! My dad took me to Good Brothers concerts at the Swift Current Legion. My first rock concert was Toronto/Headpins “Lock up your sons” tour at Swift Current arena.

45 years ago today, The Police hit #1 on the U.K. album chart with Zenyatta Mondatta. Featuring ‘Don’t Stand So Close to Me’ and ‘De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da,’ it was pop, poetry, and pure Sting magic.

I had no idea that Ted Longbottom had passed away until I came upon his grave site during a walk through Balsam Bay Cemetery on Lake Winnipeg. I remember him as a very gifted songwriter and storyteller. Rest in peace.
I figured @fpkevinrollason.bsky.social would have posted about him.
