Omna Tigray was founded by a collective of Tegaru from all over the world who believe in educated advocacy and access to resources.

Our vision is to fight injustice, advocate for peace and economic development, and amplify the voices of the people in #Tigray.

#OmnaTigray
Protests are continuing across Tigray as IDPs - ethnically cleansed from their land - rise up to demand their right to return home.

From every corner of #Tigray, people are joining them in this fight.

They deserve to go home. They deserve justice. #TigrayGenocide
🎥 Listen to their voices - mothers who lost harvests, children who’ve never known a real home.

This isn’t just displacement; it’s erasure. They deserve to live where they were born.

Share their testimony. The world must hear. Return them home! #TigrayGenocide #Tigray
These IDPs are survivors of ethnic cleansing. Five years on, children are growing up in plastic tents - robbed of education, safety, and a normal childhood.

They’re not asking for charity. They’re demanding:
• A safe return home to Western Tigray
• Accountability for the violence that uprooted them
Tens of thousands - farmers, parents, students - who were forcibly expelled and ethnically cleansed from their land in Western Tigray are marching.

📢 “No fifth rainy season in tents!”
📢 “Restore our homes and farms!”

They call on the Ethiopian government, TPLF leadership, and the world to act.
Massive protests are erupting across #Tigray. Displaced families - living in makeshift camps for nearly 5 years - are demanding one thing:

“Let us return home with dignity.”

Their call is urgent. Their message is simple. It’s time to go home. #TigrayGenocide
PRESS STATEMENT: Civil society orgs are urgently calling for the protection of Black refugees in Libya amid a wave of racist, state-sanctioned violence. Over 10,000 survivors of the #TigrayGenocide are trapped with no where to go.

The people of Tigray deserve peace and dignity - not broken promises, not silence. A full, just implementation of the Pretoria Agreement is the only way forward.
We call for:
•Full withdrawal of Amhara & Eritrean forces
•Safe return of displaced Tigrayans
•Urgent humanitarian aid
•Justice for war crimes
•Inclusive governance
•Independent international oversight
To make matters worse, Eritrea - responsible for genocidal crimes - is still involved in Tigray. Its presence is illegal, destabilizing, and obstructs the region’s path to peace. #EritreaOutOfTigray
The situation in #Tigray is dire:
•Sexual violence
•Arbitrary arrests
•Land seizures
•Abductions
All happening under ongoing occupation, with zero accountability.
The Pretoria Agreement promised peace, but the Ethiopian government has selectively implemented it. Occupation, forced displacement, and impunity persist - undermining both justice and stability. #JusticeForTigray
Two years after the ceasefire deal was signed, Tigray remains occupied - especially Western, Southern, and Northern Tigray - by Amhara forces and Eritrean troops. Displaced Tigrayans cannot return home. This is a clear violation of the agreement.
Ethiopia risks sliding back into war, with Tigray once again at the center. As the Pretoria Agreement falters and tensions rise, urgent int’l action is needed.

Australia 🇦🇺 can play a key role—through diplomacy, aid, and support for accountability.

Resilience. “For every woman who speaks, she represents 6, 8, even 10 others who suffered the same.” The voices of survivors of sexual violence must be amplified. Their pain cannot be silenced.  #IWD2025 #InternationalWomensDay2025 #Justice4TigrayWomenAndGirl #Tigray #Ethiopia
Displaced women, both in Tigray and refugee camps, continue to suffer sexual violence and isolation, unable to return to their homes due to fear, stigma, and the ongoing illegal occupation of more than 40% of Tigray. #TigrayGenocide #Justice4TigrayWomen
The #TigrayGenocide & aid cuts have left Tigrayan women in crisis—facing hunger, displacement, sexual exploitation, 📈 in HIV–without a fully functioning health system. This can’t be ignored. It will have an impact for generations to come. #IWD2025 #Justice4TigrayWomen
Today, the world calls to defend➕advance the rights #ForAllWomenandGirls–but for Tigrayan women, violence hasn’t stopped. Sexual violence (SGBV&CRSV), abductions & killings continue, ignored by the world. How many more must suffer? #TigrayGenocide #Justice4TigrayWomen #IWD2025 #Tigray #Ethiopia
