I’ve lived two places -

For San Diego: La Jolla

For Bellingham: at and bag

Most don’t hear it, but there is a distinct Northwest accent. My daughter who’s lived most of her life here, says “et” and “beg”. Doesn’t guarantee “tourist” if you don’t say it that way, but signifies a local for sure.

Very true - vegetables may cost a bit more than at the grocery, but they are vastly superior in every way and directly supporting farmers feels good. There is a robust farmer's market here in Bellingham (a couple of them actually) and it's always a good time - buskers, snacks, and sundries to boot!

This one is so good I can't stand it. GET IT NOW! While Passed is mostly known for ambient and electronic (and this one has plenty of that!), it's quite a genre hopping compilation. From post-rock to neo-classical to a sort of jazzy, world-music hybrid - and plenty in-between.
