I know that life continues on, even when you lose people, even when people stop coming and move on. It's just something that happens. I've accepted that part, but it doesn't mean I want them to happen, and I think that's the part that scares me a little.

You're right, I think it's just for me I have an ever growing fear of losing those close friends to dumb mistakes, or just my own insecurities, despite working on them.

The best I can do is do what I can, but it still keeps me up at night, thinking about it. I wish it would stop.

I don't think I'll ever lose interest in making things, but I can't deny that there is a lot that goes on that hinders that creative progress... it makes me sit there for a moment and go "What is the point if this happens." Obviously, working in what ifs won't help, but you know... brain worms.

Maybe that’s just my own tempered expectations or anxiety… I just don’t know.

It’s kind of the reason I put myself into video games, because that version of Aki doesn’t have to worry about these things, she’ll always come out on top in the end, and that story will always be a happy one.

I’ve been at this for pretty much 3 years now, and I’ve worked my ass off. I know I have. However, deep down there’s just something nagging at me, something I can’t explain that just makes me feel I’ll never be enough, for anyone.
