Alright, the calendars are live. Prices are the same as last year, and to start things off, I am having a promo Saturday and Sunday. I hope you like it, I tried to find photos that look a little different than your regular bird calendar. Feel free to share away 🙂 tinyurl.com/ykvmrhhc%E2%...

Spread feeders out a bit more so they all get their share. I personally love the Gracks and will always accomodate them. I find them more polite at feeders than for example Starlings.
and am looking forward to cozy fall and winter days with soup and stews and hopefully some snow (the forecast is looking like it here in Michigan this week). Stay warm and positive 💓
Look who visited early today - Leucy, the partially leucistic Junco! I think it may be a female. I am so happy to see more of this pretty bird. And while spring is my favorite, I appreciate the clock change, which somehow feels more normal to me than summer time, #birds
I slowed it down and zoomed in at the end, you see it on the left. I hope he comes back and that the Wren sticks around for the winter! The Wren also visited the photo setup and took a hilarious mugshot:
I a brush pile again because it was so much fun in the spring, and there is some good stuff happening there. Today, a Carolina Wren visited, along with some Nuthatches, Sparrows and one of the excitements and frustrations of this hobby - a glimpse of what looks like a partially leucistic Junco. 🐦🪶
This is a Ceyomur CY75 trailcam.
There is also a Carolina Wren around, and I spotted a partially leucistic Junco today. Hopefully I can catch him on camera too. 🐦🪶
The leaves provided a great backdrop for today's visitors. It feels like diversity is up from the summer, which feels weird to say but I haven't seen a Titmouse, nuthatches, Downy woodpeckers on cams forever, and now they are returning. #birds
I decided to add a camera to this tree again to see if the Flying Squirrel brigade is still around but so far to no avail. The birds are slowly finding it though, and today, a White-throated sparrow even got close! #birds
There is some migration traffic passing through here after all. I have seen and heard White-throated Sparrows on the ground cam, and today, this immature White-crowned Sparrow visited the bath. These birds are native Sparrows, and they are so elegant! #birds
Redwinged Blackbirds are very expressive birds, especially in the spring, and I wanted to have one in the calendar. There were quite a few contenders, but my choice eventually was the last photo because it is goofy, gorgeous and impressive at the same time. #birds 🐦
The February bird in my calendar is a Grackle. In some years, they will start to show up late in February already, and I really liked this photo, so that is how this came about. Calendars are on sale from Oct 29th until Nov 4. Happy Monday, and stay warm, it is getting frosty here! #birds
Lots of traffic out today but hardly any good footage. I had fun deco out and then of course a flock of Cedar Waxwings descended and took a bath in the farthest corner 😆 The other bath cam looked into the sun so you could see zilch. Still, I love it when the Waxies show up, they are the coolest! 🐦🪶
No, I bought this one from Etsy. The maker I think it PNKTreasures. I bought another from her, they are all well made.
Home, kitty, birds, husband and reality have me back, and while it is bitter-sweet always after fun adventures, I am happy about it too. When I checked cams today, I found that a female Purple Finch and some Downy Woodies had visited. This is a good sign for things to come. Happy fall, y'all! #birds
I’m still out and about for two days but for those who need more birds in their lives, here is the January bird of my calendar, a Tufted Titmouse. They’ve made themselves rare in my yard somehow, and I always hope they’ll return more. This one’s from last winter. ❤️ 🐤 Calendar link in bio #birds
A quick Hello! I am having a great time with my sister and no time to go through footage or photos, but here is a funny MoDo from the other day 🙂 I hope your week is fabulous! I will be back here before it is over. If you want to buy a calendar, please find the link to the shop in my profile. #birds
I don't understand this. For whatever reason something wrote itself in there. Grrrrr. Here, this should work. tinyurl.com/ykvmrhhc

Today I finalized the calendars for 2026. It was a tough job, as it always is, to narrow things down, but in the end it all worked out nicely. Here are all the ones I considered, a Best of of the last 12 months. Stay tuned to see which ones made it into the calendar. I'll post the link soon. #birds
I will again have little time to post, but I will try to keep things up. My sister is coming, and she may even help me making decisions for the calendar. I have a selection but it is very hard to pin things down.
