Fwiw, I'm waiting for Trump to throw a fake hissy fit, claim that Congress is being stubborn, and "officially" take over the budget and Treasury. He's been dying to get his hands on that money for years, and the longer the GOP does nothing, the more "justification" he thinks he has.

Serious "Buffy" fans here, both my wife and myself. We just got the deluxe boxed set of the DVDs and watch at least one episode every night.

My wife is a rape survivor. It happened while she was recovering from abdominal surgery at a hospital in CA. The hospital tried to cover it up (the perp was an employee) and we never learned his name.
If we had, I'd be in prison right now serving a sentence for 1st degree murder.

Having "pastor" next to your name doesn't confer any special knowledge, education, or experience in social sciences or constructs.
Nor does it grant any specific level of spirituality.
For about $30 , literally anyone can buy a piece of paper that declares them to be a "pastor".
It's meaningless.

Well, TBH, the Speaker has always held that role. They determined which bills got to the floor, which ones died in committees, and so forth. But you are correct, denying citizens representation is NOT part of their duties or decisions.

Trump just wants that whole stunt to be forgotten. He knows it was a staged shooting, and if he keeps talking about it sooner or later someone is going to spill his guts and implicate Trump in the scheme.
And the last thing he wants is to be charged with accessory to murder.

Addendum: perhaps he's thinking that "George Santos" has lived in NY all of his life. I guess the other names he's used don't count?
Which means that he actually thinks those were actual people (but not him), and that he only became a "real boy" a few years ago?

MAGAts are just following Trump's example. He has nothing but disdain and hatred for our country, and trashes it at every opportunity.
So they do the same.
What MAGAts don't understand is that Trump doesn't live in their world. He doesn't have to live in the filth they leave behind them.

I loved that show. Elvira was a frequent guest, along with Svenghoulie. Wilkins was always laid-back, very suave and soft-spoken, wearing his smoking jacket.

I used to wait all week for Creature Features. The original host was the late Bob Wilkins (the weather guy on KTVU in San Francisco).
No silly commentary, and interesting guests. After a years-long hiatus it reappeared on North Bay TV.
Great movies and fascinating movie trivia.
