I'm trying to not impulse adopt a puppy. The annoying thing is aside from vetwork I'm set up for two dogs so it would cost me almost nothing to bring him home. But I work so much I feel bad leaving my current dog alone all day.

I finally got a library card today. It was overdue. I was nervous to go in there because I knew I would be awkward, but also the person covering the shift at the library today was also someone who works at my job haha.

I think I sound really angry in these posts but I'm not, I'm trying to shine a light on the reality some of us live in because the issue and conversations aren't being approached with nuance, I feel, in some circles on here.

It was the same with Xwitter. If you got to stay it's because you never had to worry about being banned due to constantly changing TOS that targets you, being harassed with no way to defend yourself for being publicly marginalized, you don't understand some of us don't get a choice.

This will be harsh, but artists who announce they aren't leaving Bluesky because they are tired need to stop. You don't understand how you are in a position of privilege to say these things. I'm also not "planning" on leaving, but you don't understand how people are going to be forced off.
