This is a very rare movie, Kumiko Goto’s final starring role before retiring at 21. I could not find a single clip of it on the internet, not even a trailer, so I bought the VHS and uploaded it to the internet so others can see it in full. Just released Cult Epics 2k transfer of this wonderful film looks terrific without removing the charm from Obayashi’s trademark compositing and hand drawn special effects. DVD is light on extras but one cool thing they did is reprint the theatrical pamphlet as a booklet.
