i was gonna say that it works better to have the gay light engulf them and have the scene fade out, but you know what…considering it cuts into “CRY ETHERIA!” that would’ve been fucking perfect to cut from “don’t ruin it” to that. horde prime always trying to ruin shit 🙄

earlier draft of Heart Part 2 script from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power by ND Stevenson reads:

“Adora raises her head -- and when she meets Catra's eyes, her eyes are GLOWING BLUE! She breaks into a broad grin.

Catra grins too. Adora's hair is starting to float, the light in her chest starting to GLOW BRIGHTER as the green gashes on her body fade.

CATRA

Catra grabs Adora, pulls her in -- and KISSES HER.

The change is immediate. Adora BLAZES WITH GOLD AND RAINBOW LIGHT, enveloping them both…and when it clears,
