the difference of time and effort is so?? even when you read a small book VS a big book it doesn’t feel fair that both are only ONE in your final count of the month/year. hence why it’s better to count manga and visual novels in their own manga or visual novel category

ofc it’s literature but when you are publishing those numbers and comparing to others it’s almost cheating😭 i have a mangagram+bookstagram & it’s confusing to say i’ve read this huge number of books when it took me 20 minutes to go through one but 5 hours to go through another but both count as ONE
