This means that someone would have to have made the conscious decision to draw the black outline in one squiggly style, and then draw in the white outline by trying to be consistent all the way around.

Even ignoring the plethora of other similar problems, this is a hard sell.

The white outline for the character and logo text is a good indicator. This is something that you expect to be done with a glow layer effect, which means it should have a consistent thickness all the way around, but it doesn't. However it also doesn't match the variation of the black outlines.

My litmus test for whether something is potentially AI essentially boils down to "would an artist make that decision?"

LFB's "art style" just has so many things about it that don't make sense for an artist to make a conscious decision about.

I've been drawing for a long time and I never color pick. The color space I use is part of my art style. It's what makes it mine.

Plus the scene lighting is almost never going to match anyway. May as well do something interesting.

Art hot take, but artists should be comfortable not needing to color pick to coordinate a character from a reference.

Shaded ref sheets are fine. Unless you're drawing a comic and you need to stay on model, but even in that case, you should have the skills to be able to recreate the base colors.
