Because they're made by tech bros and not linguists
If three years of therapy has helped with anything it's that now I can confidently take the encouragement and advice that my therapist has given to me and share it with someone else while I absolutely ignore it.
I forgot that without Next.js we wouldn't have a DOM.
I really need everyone to lay off the Next.js
One time about 16 years ago I went to North Korea's website and Kim Jong-Il's name was wrapped in 16 <strong> tags.

I still think about that sometimes.
This has major, "I don't hurt animals; I buy meat at the grocery store" vibes.

Zero knowledge of where the thing comes from. Just none.

wild.
I have so many questions
Calling ChatGPT "Sparkling Word Statistics" is how you keep Sam Altman's ego in check.
Well This week I start my M.S. in Human Language Technologies from the University of Arizona.

So if you thought my articles and ramblings about language and linguistics were insufferable before — buckle up, buttercup; it's about to get much worse.
