Can confirm it has aged very well.

I’ve been looking into the history of the East India Company lately for inspiration for my stories and games, and it’s absolutely wild. The first few episodes of the @empirepoduk.bsky.social are a great start.

Sounds great! Me? Enjoying the freezing rain, some revising, some game prep, and rewatching Conan the Barbarian tonight.

Cod1 and 2 were awesome!

Perfect sleep would be good as well.

So true. Attempting to be non-political often appears to be a political choice.

Why is it that the longer I work on the manuscript revision, my to-do list grows longer? Is this good or bad?

B - remasters and a new game. Rebots are typically where I jump ship. Any new owner can't be worse than past-and-present EA.

"The Witcher is in a state of flux?"
Yeah, ok, good one -- I grinned.
The show is not the books and I am fine with that. I have no idea what happened behind the scenes, but none of that is Hemsworth's fault. I'm good.

So much fun! Loved it!

A - good, not great

Same, actually, but we had to scale down last time we moved. But we never threw anything away.
Sneaker Pimps on CD, anyone? Portishead at Rosebowl? Yes, please.

I've spent much of the day restoring my old media wall. CDs, DVDs, blue-rays. I found lots of forgotten treasures. I'm ready to cut cables.
Good times.

Summaries, if anything?

The Hanged Man is the correct answer.

In writing updates, this week has been about making cuts -- now ten or so pages gone -- and changing narrative summaries into tiny scenes. Is it better? I hope so.

A single flashback chapter is just weird. I've been holding on for the longest time, but it got to go. I got to reread Six of Crows. Bardugo is brilliant at flashbacks and memories.

Happy monday! Let's see... cut a chapter, add perhaps a thousand words, revise two chapters?

I began my reread. The Gatsby example in the first chapter is really great.
I pulled a few summary lines from my own manuscript and quickly got paragraphs of small character moments and little twists. So much fun.

*shrugs* What is BioWare at this point? I hope they sell the IP as they close shop.
