...and did he do a bad job as a cop? Sounds like he was a good cop in his actions and fulfillment of duty. Thats what matters. What he says in a private group chat is none of our business. He was not derelict in his duty and he has not been cited as treating someone unfairly/poorly.

I think I have found the cbc story on this from 2024. It doesn't say which cop said what.

The group chat was private.

Again, if you stack up the shit they have to deal with and tgey decide to blow off steam privately, I dont think they should lose their job.

Also, cops deal w/the dregs of human behaviour all day/every day and human behaviour is getting more aggressive/less self contolled. Add in drugs, alcohol or highly charged situations where emotions are running really high/danger. Thats what they face every day.

I can understand letting off steam in private. We all do as a coping mechanism. It doesn't necessarily reflect deeply held views or values.

If he fulfilled his duties and did so respectfully, what he said privately in frustration shouldn't cost him his job. We've all been there.

Here is my view: Despite organic and deeply held beliefs different from the person who was murdered, MPs stood up to show their conviction that people should not be murdered for their beliefs.

I think the non Con MPs especially should be praised for adhering to a higher ideal. They rose above 1×

should not be silenced through outright killing. This is a dangerous, slippery slope in which people shut up out of fear and includes all voices.

To do justice to the speech, the speaker should have included various examples from across the spectrum.

The right to express an opinion w/o fear of death or retribution is important to democracies. An opinion can be held to account through the courts if it incites hatred/violence but it 1/x

I believe they were standing for the main thrust of the speech which was the right to speak w/o being subjected to violence or death. Standing for people to speak their opinions whether we agree with it or not.

C.K. was the latest victim of this with many bodies on the left and the right.

Thanks. Questions for clarification if you can:
1.The release says 4000 modular homes w/additional capacity for up to 45K units across the portfolio. What does that mean? I understand the 4000 part but does the 45K units mean additional rental units? If so, how would that play out as it's not clear.

It's not about who holds him accountable. It's about a law that holds him accountable. That's the difference.

The last time I looked, it seems like the US judicial system is still more or less working to keep things in check against the tide of criminal mentality demonstrated by these lowlifes.

Someone, somewhere down there in the US should be reporting Kilmeade to whichever law enforcement for incitement of violence.

Don't let this kind of behaviour become normal. It's not. The guy can and should be reported.

Yes. I've stayed away from social media for the past few weeks and when I came back on, it was like walking into a room of people roiling and seething with anger, discontent and malcontent. The danger is falling into it and having that as your only socialization as so many do.
