Gojo bridge!! In Kyoto. We stayed at Hotel Tavinos nearby. There's a mall about 20 minutes walk that has n Animate store (and lots of others!!) that was GREAT. There's a lovely NYC style street filled with shops!
Also the hotel had a 7-11 downstairs and I ate my weight in onigiri and egg sandwiches!
