Currently, elections are won on 20% of the electorate. Unless people decide that voting is worth doing we are going to end up with a racist PM voted in by a minority of racists.

I like @shelaghfogarty.bsky.social but on this subject, she displays signs of unconscious bias. None of her arguments stand up. She recounts one case and presents it as data and ignores obviously hateful tweets.

I'm sure there are many more women assaulting other women in ladies toilets than there are trans women doing the same thing @shelaghfogarty.bsky.social.
I sometimes have to look over my shoulder in public toilets not because I worry about gender. I usually have you as intelligent but not on this.

A couple of weeks ago, it was anounced with no great fanfare that renewable had overtaken fossil fuels in energy usage.
There is plenty of evidence now that renewables create jobs, keep bills low, is good for the environment etc...
Anyone wanting to reverse the progress made is obviously grifting.

I'm not going to list the reasons why this current government is much better than the previous one and that it is the best option available. So no, It wasn't crap, unless someone else could have beaten the tories?
