Yes, and also where are all the R-rated films for these teens to want to see but they are told that they can't. That shit can plant some real seeds in a young mind. Make them yearn and scheme to see films and then it triggers an extra pleasure center when they finally get to watch it!

That's fair. Sucks for me, but totally fair. The festival game is a pricey endeavor. Fun as hell, but those travel costs add up fast. Awesome that you and your team at least got the theater experience though.

If you've got a short, or he'll even a feature, that you want to make, don't wait make that thing! It doesn't even have to be great (bonus points if it is of course). You'd be surprised by all the good things that can come from making something and getting it in front of people.

Haunted House of Pancakes
Similar to Carved, this knows what it wants to be as a low budget B horror movie and while there is definitely some short comings with it's budget, it does at least have some fun with what it can to make a decent watch if you can vibe with it

Same, I dug it too. I feel like a lot of the flack came from the shift in genre. This one pretty much abandoned the horror and became an action/comedy. If you weren't aware going in, it can be hard to get past unmet expectations.

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America
