Today, the PCSA published the findings of a report into An Garda Síochána’s policing performance throughout 2024.

Our review found that four out of 18 targets were fully achieved, while nine were partially met.

The PCSA is delighted to partner with Research Ireland and to fund the Living Independently & Free from Targeted Abuse (LIFT) project led by Dr Charles O’Mahony at the University of Galway. The project will explore the experiences of disabled people who have been targeted for abuse or exploitation.

Research Ireland has announced funding for 59 projects under its New Foundations programme.

These awards will support researchers in developing collaborative projects with community organisations and government departments.
