Our dietitians, occupational therapists, physios and speech and language therapists came together to celebrate #AHPsDay.

The event focused on three key shifts—hospital to community, treatment to prevention, and analogue to digital - with colleagues presenting ideas on how to support these.

Our fifteen fabulous fundraisers have raised over £7,000 for Pennine Care Charity.

Funds go towards therapeutic activities, wellbeing projects and community groups that wouldn’t be possible through standard NHS funding.

Our medical director, Dr Simon Sandhu, gave a presentation to 40 international first-year students at the newly opened Greater Manchester Medical School.

Simon explained what mental health and mental illness mean, and gave an overview of our services and the different types of support we offer.

Thanks to Morrisons Foundation for donating £9,000 to Pennine Care Charity for our young people's specialist support team.

The funding will provide vital opportunities for young people with severe learning disabilities to join activities such as music, swimming, nature walks, soft play and cycling.

Our vaccine team leads are busy rolling out the flu vaccine for NHS colleagues. Don't forget to book!

These new NHS uniforms they're wearing are cheaper to produce, purchased nationally, made from sustainable materials and designed to last longer. This will save an estimated £7m a year.

It was great to welcome Patricia Hughes, Jonathan Beebee, and Simon Browes from @rcn.org.uk to Pennine Care.

They met with our colleagues to discuss the professional nursing strategy, tackling racism and hate crime, and reducing health inequalities for people from diverse backgrounds.

We were proud to welcome the Baton of Hope on its tour through Tameside on Friday.

It was an incredibly moving and inspiring event, raising awareness of suicide prevention and mental health.

Thanks to Anthony Seddon Fund for doing such a brilliant job of organising it.
