sorry for this lil vent crashout but I'm so tired of low-level content being treated as a joke. I have seen far more wipes in ARR content due to shitty max-level players not giving a shit than I have in doing any post-ShB content by the hugest of margins.

It's so wild to me that this main-character-syndrome mindset is so pervasive in the community. "Hurr its just low-level content hurr you don't pay my sub" yeah well when your clownery turns a 20-minute-ish raid into 40+ minutes then maybe you should pay *my* sub for the extra time you wasted

I don't care what the content is. I could be in the beginner baby guildhest or Sastasha, or I could be in the newest max-level dungeons of the patch. I *always* treat it with respect, and assume that it could kill me. Always. I never assume any content is beneath me.

A Labyrinth run that takes *40 minutes* because of near-intentional stupidity of players that think "CT = turn brain off" makes me wanna tear my hair out. I shouldn't have to use provoke off-cooldown as the off-tank to keep the final boss from killing us all for three of those six wipes.

I've met one (1) sprout in my 6000+ hours of playing that was the supposedly common belligerent noob that doesnt wanna learn anything. I have met so so so so so many max-level players (mentors, even!) that dont give a damn about playing right and crash out when other people don't pick up their slack

People seem to complain about sprouts for not knowing mechanics and being stupid but I'd rather do CT raids with only first-timer sprouts that I have to carefully explain each boss to for the rest of my life than deal with il700+ pentamelded DPSes pre-pulling every fight on autopilot

This is hardly a hot take but they gotta make the crystal tower raids harder to compensate for power creep. We gotta make people actually respect the game again. I'm so tired of having to babysit max-level players into doing mechanics so we don't wipe SIX TIMES.
