Okay hear me out, I'm certain Freeza's first form is supposed to be shrimp pink / red, which is superior to the anime color palette everyone is used to. The evidence doesn't lie!
I do approve of the candy pink digitally colored manga palette too, but the anime lilac is not where it's at!

Happy 2nd release anniversary to LunarLux, one of my favorite passion project games I've had the pleasure of supporting and playing 😄

I was reminded of Lycañatas the other day and now seemed like the perfect time to take another whack at this piñata version of my koi dragon, Sashimi! 🪅🐟

The original design was done by @ritzzybitzyspider.bsky.social back in 2021!

The middle sketch, done in 2023, features the same dragon with their back to the viewer; tail curving away. A trail of darker pink scales lines their back with a single yellow and green band around the end of their fish tail. The final sketch, done in 2021, is a simple side view of the dragon clutching a pink Swedish Fish in their mouth with arms resting at their fore. The artist-1st model of animation production that we're seeing nowadays isn't a fluke. It allows for creative control to stay where it belongs, with the creatives, and the vision of the comic/cartoon to remain intact, with a minimum of executive interference.

I think we're in for a new golden age.

I've finally made some headway on these two Chozo, giving them names and a bit of a back story. Frigid Tome is the Thoha penguin scientist and Swift Feather is the Mawkin vulture warrior. More lore on my tumblr

SF is sitting up, right arm clutching his chest, left pointing at FT, most of his armor removed or cut off aside from the left leg, and His right forearm and lower torso is bandaged, and FT is working on bandaging his right leg. Some of the bandages have spots of blood on them, particularly on the lower torso which looks like it has been clawed by a large creature. The two are upset with each other, and their dialog is shown in the drawing on top: FT: You were told this was a dangerous mission SF: You gave me outdated security data And bottom: SF: Now my armor needs repairs FT: Stop squirming. The arapaima is teal near the front and fades to darker blue with areas of magenta/pink. Along the body are pops of brighter color on the ends of some scales, which start turning into stars further down the tail, which drift off into space behind the fish.
