Honestly I want to throw my phone into a large body of water.

thinking back it's hard to overstate just how much and how quickly our behavior/thinking changed with big-touchscreen-in-the-pocket adoption.

i *really* debated with myself when to put it. i kinda feel it's 2007 (iphone then the recession changed tech a LOT) but i decided to go 2010 because i don't think most folks who agree with me would argue it as more recent than that lolsob

good point yes! and also the rich folks are getting real rich off it. the richest people in the world are leveraging their status as the richest people in the world to take over media and governments everywhere. that's now how you and i would count our money but idk their money is different i think

i've been reading all his stuff i like it.

i made a chart outlining the current state of the tech industry. we haven't build anything innovative in the middle in a very long time.

"this thing that will materially erode society is a good business decision" is a big part of why we are where we are.
