I’ve consistently spoken about my experiences on multiple platforms. Just because silence means that people can rebrand themselves. Rewrite truth into narratives. But most of those who targeted me definitely got away with doing it to me and others.
It’s wild that a lot of the artists (mostly other native queer artists) who targeted me back in 2021…aren’t even successful today.

You did all that smear campaigning, doxxing, getting your white following to harass and stalk me…for nothing?

Indigenous Peoples Day 🌿

If anyone wants to gift this indigenous anarchist mother and artist anything today. I’m starting to save money funds for a permanent home for my family. I’ve worked hard to save what I can and want to actualize my dream 🖤 venmo.com/u/trqmul_isk...

I am seeing a lot of people reposting Lakota Man today bc it's Indigenous Peoples Day. A reminder that he is not well liked amongst many (most?) Natives on social media. Many of us blocked him a long time ago. Some of the reasons why are in this article.

Who is LakotaMan, the user behind one of the most popular Native American accounts on X?
John Martin is adored by white X users—but infamous among Native and Indigenous communities.

Sorry I haven’t been on here as much.

This anarchist mother has been very locked in as far as finding a stable, safe home. Also going complete no contact with abusive family members. And building my art career back up all over again. And starting a new, beautiful life.

All which I’ve done 🤍
Indigenous peoples don’t need colonizer or their government approval to celebrate, acknowledge and assert our existence.

We’re still here despite colonialism.

I love you and I’ll miss you my friend. Words can’t describe how much this hurts and I have so many things I want to say to you.

I’m glad I found you in this life, I would do it all over again. @doctormont.bsky.social

Sigh…Bluesky won’t show my nude art, which isn’t even “explicit”. It’s artfully done nudity.

So likeliness of me using this platform to post my work is…not looking good.

Pink Moon Woman
Digital drawing. A plus sized woman with beige skin and white tattoos. Long flowing dark hair. Raised arm pose. Inside a pink circle, representing a pink moon phase. Surrounded by white floral line art. Text reading “Plateau Pop”.
I would move immediately if I could like so many of my friends and relatives BUT I have a child. I have a family. And there’s so much that goes into planning a move, anywhere. But especially off reservation.
So many natives leave their homelands, their reservations, their communities because of survival.

There’s lack of housing, education and work opportunities, formal medical care and services. And because of corrupted tribal politics and wealth disparities.
Maybe my little family is meant for more. I don’t have to accept the bare minimum in anything or be put in the boxes others want us to check. I want a beautiful home, hopefully a work life I love and to fulfill all our dreams.
Also language and cultural barriers for many indigenous anarchist folks 🌿
A difficult thing about the history of Anarchism for a layperson like myself is that so much of what was written isn't in English. That's a huge barrier since most of the movement didn't speak English as their first language and there's probably minimal interest in translating all these periodicals,
Feel like things are just falling apart
I’m both worried and hopeful. Some days more of one than the other.

I know I want to believe in us 🌿
