Now, I'm not an arborist but I really don't think that this has been thought through.

A plane tree. Seemingly planted in a metal cylinder that projects 2 cm out of the ground and surrounded by concrete. The trunk almost filling the diameter of the cylinder.

Thanks. I used to use openoffice but found that there could be compatibility issues with word (which is what clients insist reports are issued in).

An increase of over 30% for a smattering of AI twaddle that I won't use? Bollocks to that.

An email from Microsoft announcing an increase of £25 for a Microsoft Office subscription.

Part of an email from Microsoft confirming that they can f right off trying to charge me 30% more for some AI nonsense.

I've had a few heart stopping moments when I've found an adult Meadow Pipit amongst a group of juveniles. They can look almost monochrome in comparison.

I've seen one of those grey moonbows. Travelling through the Highlands on the way to North Ronaldsay in 1989 though, the most spectacular moonbow. Like a rainbow but without the blues and violets. The way it stood out against the black sky. One of the best things I've seen in my life.

Yesterday myself and @wildlifetoursed.bsky.social headed to Gore point near Porlock for some long overdue ride pooling session.. Several awesome new to us species were observed.

I can think of a few birds on a well-birded St Agnes that have gone missing for a couple of days at a time before finally settling on a location. Not necessarily straying into inaccessible parts either.

The Greens requested an interview on the Laura Kuenssberg Show with Zack Polanski when he was elected leader, but were denied, with a promise to interview him during Green conference instead.

This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester
