I thought MZY telling her not to go out at night with wet hair was the part where he wanted to prove a point (that he's okay with her meeting other people at night), and the kiss was to make WZS jealous. I totally agree, though, it was a bit skeezy. 😅

No problem. I'm still learning my way around, too. Many, many of them are idols. Some are so-called double or even triple threats, being able to act, dance, and sing. And yes, there are still plenty of dramas with thick 😁 men, but idol dramas are abundant and get a lot of media attention.

It's less of a time investment than any of my other games, and it only requires the rare fast action. You're basically just clicking yourself through a drama. 😁

I'm assuming it's because of the so-called Lu Han Effect. Idols have tons of fans and casting them means lots of traffic (money) for the platform once the drama starts airing. (That's why they're often called traffic stars.)

It looks like they already filmed part 2, or at least some of the major scenes. There's a trailer for it after you finish the game, and it looks really exciting! Fights, rebellion, you in the emperor's robes, etc.

I wonder how long this project took. For every choice you make there would have been a different reaction to film. And it's not just indoor scenes, there are lots of location shots, too. And horse riding, archery, combat, and martial arts. And crowd scenes with lots of extras. And that's only part 1

You get to listen to interesting voice messages after each death, where the characters tell you what they think of it. It's pretty funny sometimes. 😆

Those are the main three. There are also multiple possibilities to get stabbed with a knife or killed with a sword. You could totally make a drinking game out of it. 😁

It's more an interactive movie than a game where you pick the option how the next scenes will play out. It's a high quality production with all real actors, many of whom I've watched in more than one #cdrama. And yes, novel and drama knowledge would totally help!

In this game it's part of the fun, though! I often intentionally picked the option I knew was leading to death. I'm of a mind to count which one is the most common. Being stabbed with a hair pin? Strangled with a silk scarf? Poisoned by soup? *g*

Finished playing #RoadToEmpress, can definitely recommend it! Had lots of fun with this game, and am already looking forward to the next part. The actors were so great! 😍I'll play a bit more, check out all versions of the story I didn't pick on my first run, and try for the last few achievements. 😁
