The JPR issue on Single-Cell Omics is out.

As the editorial highlights, understanding biological systems requires direct measurements at all molecular levels.

Thank you CBC for covering our latest study using
#proteomics and rapid patient derived models to inform patient care - out in EMBO Molecular Medicine.

A first in Canada step towards improved personalized #PrecisionMedicine

Thanks for listing me! Appreciate it.
Can you please also add me to the SCP pack. We are far from where we want to be but our data on cells from kids with leukemia is already blowing my mind.
Done. I thought I had you already on there - must have been dreaming.
To keep the conversations going I created a starter pack for proteomics in Canada
Let me know if I missed you and I will continue to add as people gather under the blue sky.

The growth of this community is amazing. I started a starter pack to bing the proteomics community together and accelerate this further
Proteomics - go.bsky.app/GYoxs2r
Please let me know if I missed you. I will curate this pack as new people gather under the blue sky

It has been so much fun to run this. The science was outstanding and the connections that were made will be long lasting. We had it all - breakthrough science, bears guarding the pub and the first snow of the season.
Thank you all for coming! See you at HUPO/CNPN 2025 in Toronto.
Thanks to CNPN 2024 organizers, @philipplange.bsky.social and Mari De Marco, great sponsors, and all participants who made this conference happen🙌
Next up: Dr Michael Lassman from Merck giving the 2nd Keynote at #CNPN2024.

Ryan from our lab presenting his work @cnpn looking at yeast strains capable of producing more recombinant proteins. When we started doing #proteomics we actually found quite important differences between these strains

Snowflakes & Proteomics: the 2024 CNPN Fairmont fairytale… once upon a time there was a tiny single cell (Ljijana Pasa-Tolic), a mutated proteome (Matthew Berg from the Villen lab) and a nasty protease (Olivier Julien)…
It is a pleasure to host this year's conference of the Canadian National Proteomics Network. Such a brilliant and smart crowd that has gathered in Whistler.
CNPN 2024 just kicked off by Dr. Mari Demarco and Dr. Philipp Lange in Whistler, BC🥳🙌😍🎉

Thanks so much to our sponsors, especially @Thermofisher
This captures our first evening of CNPN 2024 so well!

"Budget 2024 proposes to provide $825 million over five years, starting in 2024-25, with $199.8 million per year ongoing, to increase the annual value of master's and doctoral student scholarships to $27,000 and $40,000, respectively, and post-doctoral fellowships to $70,000."
Budget day and A fantastic day for 🇨🇦 Canadian science! Finally students and postdocs get recognized for their outsized contributions to society and see big increases in fellowships. Great time to join a 🇨🇦 lab! Reach out.
@lkpino.bsky.social @talusbio.bsky.social kicking off the BC Proteomics & Metabolomics Network Symposium with a phenomenal keynote. Transcription factors, mass spec in drug development, startups, off target effects, … beautiful tour de force. #proteomics.sky
I am nevertheless glad you made it! Welcome.
