It's 31 October. Most people will be thinking about Halloween. Historians, of course, will be thinking about Martin Luther, who nailed his 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg on this day in 1517. 1/4

Hadn't twigged that one, but it is definitely a possibility.
In my family we call going grey "getting your glitter in" and I sort of love it. My great aunt styled her speckled white curls so well and I loved it.
I'm going to complain about something that makes me feel like an old lady:
The quality of socks today is poor. I still have socks I wore in secondary school (2 decades ago) but the pretty ones with birds on I got from M&S a year ago now have holes in and are going thin. This is upsetting.
1. When the government say teachers are appreciated but they don't fund a pay rise.

2. The office reaction when you get the break time toilet duty slot.
I always find it interesting that these lessons exist within teaching Christianity, but almost nowt else. (Occasionally Hindu traditions gets it at A-level) Really strange how our idea of what is "right" to teach shifts.
This is so useful to share with the pgce student I am mentoring right now. We've discussed how "truth" is conceived within RE and so this is very relevant.

So do these specific ducks just go on random jaunts to rivers around Europe?

So I'm the weirdo who buys these from charity shops. I love seeing real life planning in travel guides. And I'm basically a memory vampire.
Wales gives rain to all (auspicious) occasions. It's a little liquid blessing and a reminder to get a really good raincoat.

Glad my spice education is getting put to use!
Bart the spice brand has red pepper flakes or they are sometimes in the Sainsbury's selection.

Garam masala is always a good bet for Indian. Some chaat masalas have chilli in but the main thing you are wanting is the green mango powder (aamchur) and black salt which give a kick.
So a slightly different issue my sister has is that she cannot deal with spicy at all l. When I cook for her
Italian: red pepper flakes and up the herbs. Admit it won't be the same.

Indian: garam masala or chat masala with ginger and garlic.

Mexican: up the coriander and cumin. Mb green pepper
If you want heat try ginger, garlic and black pepper.

What cuisine is it? That can help with substitutes as you can tell what the chilli is doing.

The persistence of the gender pay gap in schools is 'grossly unfair', says @naht.org.uk as it calls on the government to urgently conduct a detailed pay equality analysis

It's the second time already this term I've reverted to stew and dumplings. I'm not complaining, but it is a lot earlier than normal for me to give up on summer and go full on autumnal hedgehog.
We are planning on how to use these with our year 10 and 11 groups. They are really nice and accessible listens.
The story graph is so good

True, but lots of the news media reporting that it is about "celebrating Britain"
