We are shaking down our allies for resources: e.g. Australia, Ukraine for "promise of our help and protection". Those that won't play along we tariff like Brazil. The most valuable ones with vast amounts of oil, well, we will just invade and topple the existing government and replace.

I came of age during the Vietnam War and just missed the draft. I recall the attitude towards veterans of that war and they were drafted. What damage is being done to a volunteer Army if used to start a war in Venenzuela or patrol the streets of the U.S.. What will be the recruitment slogans?

I was stationed in Panama, just after HW Bush operation "Just Because". There was bitterness as some areas of the the city were leveled, but overall Americans were still welcome. We will be hated soon
