A black-and-white photograph, celebrating Halloween. A roller skater at central parks, skate Road. During the annual Halloween celebration, with mask and hoodie, while brandishing knives, eliciting fright in the hearts of those nearby. The ghoulish mask, seemingly of a melting face without upper lip, showing the full breath of the upper and lower jaws of teeth

Late October 2012, a devastating Superstorm Sandy steamrolled over the East Coast of the U.S. Leaving a life-changing indelible mark on many of its cities, towns, and of course residents. Demonstrating to all the ramifications of sidestepping the obvious.
Shown here is a black-and-white photograph on the Coney Island Beach in November 2012. Just after Superstorm Sandy left the area. A washed up refrigerator stands on this Sandy Beach is of Coney Island while in the background the landmark parachute John stands tall under a partly cloudy sky. All of it, the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.

Remnant of Superstorm Sandy
Coney Island Beach/Brooklyn NYC 2012

October 2012, Superstorm Sandy bore down on the east coast of the U.S. wreaking havoc. As I write this, a storm (though not as severe) is about to wreak its havoc for about nearly thirteen years later.
A black-and-white photograph taken on the Coney Island boardwalk days after super storm, Sandy in October 2012. The Sand full of footsteps. Meanwhile, a washed up refrigerator sits on the beach in the distance, the coney island pier jets out into the Atlantic Ocean waters as the low angle of the late afternoon sun casts its long shadow on the rough surface of sand on the beach.
