So to help manage my stress levels my schools let me make origami during lessons so long as its not too disruptive or distracting. And I figure the schools should keep them. Recently I’ve been making hydrangeas.

Idk why these stand out to me. In PatchWork there are more heavy pages and lighter pages that still need more and I feel like these all naturally reached a balance

There are a TON of random stickers because as my roll in the classroom decreases I had less need for the ones I bought at my job. The blue at the bottom is a cut up cover where i liked the color and texture. One of the reasons this thing is so thick is I use different materials.

Something else i did was rip up old planners and journals to keep the important bits. This is a pocket I fashioned onto one, and the list is of completed art. Something I really want to start doing again

This is what i meant by “decluttering.” The art is salvaged from half used sketchbooks and on this page I have the notes from my doctors that I have saved with my feelings about them. One of them explains how I should go to the hospital if i got worse which saved my life.

The opening page is simple enough with a mix of original art, stickers and something to date it by.

Years ago back in art school i traded an illustration i did of Ringo Star for this so I could get it tattooed. I still kinda want it 😂 I guess as soon as im done teaching.
